Tracey Steger, EAMP, LAc

Tracey will be on maternity leave from early July 2020 - January 2021! She is not currently accepting new patients.

Tracey uses Chinese medicine to promote harmony and healing within the body.  She practices with a deep respect for the ancient art of Chinese medicine utlizing traditional diagnostic methods and techniques.  Practicing in a way that brings balance and clarity, her goal is to uncover the body's inherent healing ability. Rather than mask symptoms, she digs deep to find the root cause of symptoms or conditions, and encourages patients to take part in this process.

With an undergraduate degree in Anthropology and Chinese from Western Washington University, Tracey pursued gradute studies at the Seattle Instutute of East Asian Medicine (SIEAM).  SIEAM is respected around the world for its hands-on clinical approach, and in-depth herbal and Chinese medical language curriculum.

Tracey is trained in traditional Chinese acupuncture, Japanese acupuncture, cupping therapy, moxibustion, Chinese herbs, auriculotherapy (ear acupuncture) and Tui Na massage.  She is drawn to treating pain disorders, women's health disorders, anxiety, sleep disorders, and autoimmune disorders.

Lisa O'Flaherty, EAMP, LAc

I received my Masters of Science degree in Acupuncture from Bastyr University, a world-renowned science-based institution in Natural Health, here in Washington State. This Master’s program involved a full immersion into both Western Medicine and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). I also received rigorous clinical training while at Bastyr University, including specialized Immune Wellness shift involving complex patients, as well as specialized shifts for Pain Management at Bastyr's Center for Natural Health.  Prior to Bastyr, I received my Bachelor’s degree from The Evergreen State College. I am a native from Washington and love to travel.

Why I was drawn to Chinese Medicine: I began receiving acupuncture treatments after suffering from what is now called chronic migraine. I experienced unwanted side effects of western medicine drugs and searched for a better answer for relief. I appreciated the individualized approach this medicine offered. When I would go to the Doctor they had a list of drugs they would prescribe for my condition. The Chinese Medicine approach was to look at what the cause or root was for MY body and then work toward balance. Finding this medicine was a big turnaround from having daily migraines. I was able to have fewer migraines and work with my doctor to reduce the medications I was taking.

My approach to Patient Care: When you are my patient, we are a team, working together toward goals. Your journey toward wellness is approached on a one-on-one level. Chinese Medicine has given me the tools to plan a treatment geared toward each persons’ condition, constitution, and goals while guiding each person towards lasting health while discovering the innate healing the body is capable of. I enjoy the variety of treating many health issues and I specialize in pain, migraine, and nutritional therapy.
